4th of July Fun at the Lake of the Ozarks

The 4th of July is a big, exciting holiday in the lake area, with lots of awesome things happening all over the place. Since the holiday falls on a Tuesday this year, Lake Ozark Vacations has pulled together some of the fun things going on for the 4th, as well as the weekend before and the weekend after. 4th of July Fireworks
You shouldn't have to worry about missing the fireworks at the Lake of the Ozarks this year, because there are a lot of nights that different establishments will be setting them off! A mid-week holiday means that celebrations will be happening before, during, and in some cases, after the big day. Here are some of the dates and places around the lake area that are scheduled so far. Most of these displays can be seen by either land or by boat.

Fireworks aren't the only exciting activities to take advantage of while you are at the Lake of the Ozarks for the 4th of July. In addition to the amazing shopping, golfing, dining, water sports, state parks, and more that are available all summer long, the following fun events are happening too!

Eldon 4th of July Celebration
Saturday, July 1
The city of Eldon will start the day with a 5K run at 7:30 am. A parade through town plus games and vendor booths happen at 10 am. At the end of the day, starting at 5 pm, there will be live music at the Eldon Air Park followed by a grand fireworks display at dusk.  

Windermere's Freedom Celebration
Sunday, July 2
Beginning at 5 pm at the Windermere Conference Center just outside of Camdenton, this annual celebration starts at 5 pm. Three will be live music, old-fashioned games, a BBQ supper, and fireworks. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join the party!  

Party in the Sticks 2017 featuring Colt Ford
Sunday, July 2
Ozarks Amphitheater has a huge evening of Country Rap planned at their outdoor concert venue. Headliner Colt Ford will be joined by special guests Bubba Sparxxx, Struggle Jennings, and Dirt Road Republic.

Miller County Fair
July 4-8
If you love a county fair, then you're in luck this 4th of July! The city of Eldon is home to the Miller County Fair, which is filled with a rodeo, demolition derby, tractor pulls, livestock shows, carnival rides, food, and more! 

38 Special Live in Concert
Saturday, July 8
This famous band is bringing their signature Southern Rock to Shawnee Bluff Vineyard in Eldon! If you are a fan of hits like "Hold On Loosely," Rockin' Into the Night, " or "Back Where You Belong," then you'll want to see them live in this intimate, outdoor concert venue. The show will be followed by an epic fireworks display.
